Eclipse Tortilla Chips
Another Moon Day recipe. These were so good i didn't even need to dip them in the salsa I bought for them!
Ingredients
- Large corn or wheat tortillas
- Oil
- Salt
- Spices (I used Tajin)
Method
- Preheat the over to 180C, fan forced
- Using a knife or cookie cutters, cut the tortillas into crescent moon or star shapes
- Brush your shapes in oil, and sprinkle on salt and elected spices. Be sure to get both sides!
- Place on a tray and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve with salsa and guacamole
Tips
- To shape the tortillas into crescent moons, I take a large round cookie cutter and press it to the side of the tortilla. I use the cut-off parts to make stars, to use as much tortilla as possible!
- Season your tortillas generously! The salt will make them more flavorful!
